Choosing a reference photo: show what you want to copy
The best reference shows more than the front. It makes clear whether you like the shape, length, transition, texture or finish.
Bring more than one angle
This lets the barber compare top, sides and back. One perfect front view says little about the rest of the shape.
Point out your favourite detail
Say, for example, that you mean the low transition, loose fringe or beard line. Not every detail of the photo has to be copied together.
Compare it with your starting point
Explain how your hair normally falls and how much styling you use. This makes it easier to choose a realistic translation.
